In Bangalore, India, white puffy toxic foam begins spilling out of Varthur lake onto city streets. Over the past decade, rapid urbanisation in the area has led to decline in the water quality of Varthur lake. It is found that water was heavily polluted because of release of untreated sewage and inadequately treated industrial affluents into the lake.

Toxic foam in Varthur lake indicated us that we need to control on our pollution. We need to focus on environmental issues, like greenhouse gas effect etc.
